Wheel motor

Hydraulic motor, which can be integrated directly into the wheels of a vehicle. This produces a direct transfer of the force without interposing a manual transition, cardan shaft and differential gear. In addition, either

  • high speed motors with a reducing gear; either conventional hydraulic motors with connected reducing gears are used or designs, in which the hydraulic motor – which may also be adjustable – is integrated into the gear such that the torque is transferred over a ring gear with teeth on the inside, onto which the rim is directly welded (Figure R 7).
  • Slow speed high torque motors pressurised from the inside, which are designed such that the shaft is fixed and the housing, which is connected to the rim, turns (Figure R 8).
