Step control action

Applies to elements (step control elements) which assign to several value ranges for an input signal in the steady state the same number of different values as for the .

Elements featuring two-point performance or step control action generate an amplitude pattern at the output (Figure M 10).

Examples: contact mechanisms on shafts and slides, limit signal switches, on/off switches, switching valves and the like (DIN 19 226).
