Control of the speed of a cylinder via control edges. Every displacement chamber has two flow resistances. With the single edge control one resistance can change, the second resistance is however constant (Figure E 7).
Single edge controls can be in the bypass or in the main flow. Application examples: Copy controls (single edge sensor) or pressure compensator in flow control valves or control edge on continuous 2 directional valves.
