Most pressure transducers operate with a Strain gauge or as piezoresistive transducers.

The pressure transducer therefore comprises a housing with pressure sensor, in some circumstance fixed adjustment elements for calibrating the zero point and end point as well as elements for compensating for interference (e.g. temperature) (Figure D 51).
