Ratio of the absolute final pressure to the absolute inlet pressure on a compressor. The pressure ratio on a multi-stage compressor is given by the ratio of the absolute inlet pressure of the 1st stage in relation to the absolute final pressure of the last stage.
The stage pressure is the pressure ratio for each stage in a multiple stage compressor. The final pressure is measured here before the intercooler.
