Filter that is built into the high-pressure line, i.e. after the pump. It is an advantage that only the pump delivery flow must pass through it and that the following components are protected (Figure D 54).
If, above all on servo valves, particularly pure oil is required, a fine filter is used directly in the control oil circuit.
The term pressure filter can also have a broader scope (as per EDIN 24 550). Then it covers every filter with the exception of the suction filter.
