Device for angle measurement (indirect travel measurement). It receives the travel pulses generally via a spindle-nut system and converts them into the rotation of a graduated disc that is scanned photoelectrically. The number of graduations defines the pulse frequency at a specific rotation speed and therefore the resolution.
