Mostly pre-shaped plates made of elastomer whose task is to form a tight separating wall for a limited volume. A distinction is made between flat, pot and rolling diaphragms (Figure M 12). Within hydraulics, diaphragms are mainly used in diaphragm accumulators and in sealed oil containers.
