Circuit that routes the outlet flow on the piston rod side on a differential cylinder to the inlet on the piston side to increase the flow velocity (rapid traverse circuit) (Figure 22). As a consequence, however, the piston force reduces according to the ratio of the annular area to the piston area.
On differential cylinders with the ratio of piston areas α = 2 the same piston extension and retraction velocity is achieved with the same flow rate in the inlet using the regenerative circuit.
